Motivated by the strength and the resilience of friends and family, a group of women came together to inspire the community and to give back to two local organizations. On Thursday, May 13, 2010, they proudly presented Celebrate More Birthdays, an evening with New York Times Bestseller author and breast cancer survivor Kelly Corrigan. This inspirational event was held at the Campbell Heritage Theatre and featured a reading, book signing and dessert reception.

More than 500 community members came together to celebrate life and hear Kelly Corrigan share her story. The event was a huge success and raised more than $40,000. Proceeds from the event benefited the programs and services the American Cancer Society provides to cancer patients and their families. Proceeds also benefited O’Connor Hospital Foundation's creation of a new full-field digital mammography suite. The celebration and spirit of the event continues on. Click here to donate.
